Rejection is a part of life and art.

Just got this yesterday, right before I was going into my oral defense. It kind of rattled me for like a millisecond, then I had a moment of clarity. I heard a voice inside me say, "You don't have to seek others approval of your work anymore. You have a master of your craft. You just need to do what comes naturally." I'm a pretty humble person by most standards - Josie might say otherwise - so that it was strange feeling. A moment of pure confidence. I've only rarely felt the sensation, but it was exhilarating. Remember dear ones, the measure of your work is how you deal with set backs, rejections and adversity. Believe in yourself, always! ‪#‎believeinyourself‬ ‪#‎believeinwonder‬
