As I mentioned before, I'm not really surprised that what started out as a weird dream turned into a design/illustration exercise, has now grown into a true tradition. Now I'm kicking up a notch! I'm encouraging friends and fans to chime in with ideas for another poster this season. I will design and illustrate the final image and reveal it ON CHRISTMAS EVE! I'm in part doing this to gauge interest in the project, and in part because it's super fun! I will be making the series available for purchase soon, but I may have to wait until the 2015 holiday season – but by then it will be time for another poster. :) I will be taking suggestions on my website for until December 15th – come be a part of the Santa Propaganda Project! HELP ME HELP SANTA!

May I present, Santa Propaganda Poster 2014! #believeinsanta #believeinwonder  Check out the cover of my new book, The Wonderous Science (yes, it’s spelled incorrectly for a reason.) It should be coming out next year, and I’ll keep you guys updated on what’s happening with it. #believeinwonder  Take a look at the book project I'm working on with the students at Roosevelt High School's Publishing Program. It's titled INVASION OF THE HEAD-SCRATCHERS: Survivors' Guide to Scholarship Essays! They are doing great work, and I'm pitching in with brainstorming and illustration. We have another meeting next week, and I should be able to announce a release date. Working with these students has been a real treat and a blessing.  |
