I'm happy to announce that Josie and I have been extended an opportunity to work with The Right Brain Initiative, along with the Regional Arts and Cultural Commission, to bring our special brand of creative learning to classrooms all over the Portland area! The organization works with schools, libraries, and other entities to provide integrated art education for students. Believe In Wonder Publishing will have the great privilege of sharing our knowledge an experience in the area of storytelling and idea capturing with some very talented and imaginative kids. We still have some trainings to attend, but be on the lookout for updates on this exciting news! #BelieveInWonderhttp://therightbraininitiative.org/  Today was the first day of our artist residency, and it was amazing!!! We had so many kids come through our classroom with stories to tell, pictures to draw, and smiles to share. Josie was great with the kids while I encourage them to tell their own stories. Even Victor got in on the fun, and even got a chance to play in the museum with our new friend Jessica Graff. Thanks so much, Portland Children's Museum for this amazing opportunity. |
