Iggy P. Platinus is your typical young guy, determined to make his way in the world on his own terms. So, leaving his home in Platsylvania, Iggy finds his way to Anchor Town to start into his life of independence. After meeting a new friend, Jay Jones, he's soon caught up in a mystery that will take him across the globe in search of ancient artifacts, pursued by masked men, mummies, and creatures of legend.

Ok…this is well done and…completely at right angles to current comics trends (except perhaps Adventure Time and such.) It is SO bloody good-natured and FUN! –Tom Brown, co-creator of Hopeless, Maine.
Parker is an excellent cartoonist, as his pages just fill to the brim with vibrancy. Iggy is an awesome character – he is so happy-go-lucky but at the same time, so singleminded that he likely doesn’t realize the risks of his quest for adventure can bring to his friend, Jay.
If you’re at all a fan of Carl Barks’ Duck comics (and why the hell wouldn’t you be?) or at the very least the cartoon series based on those comic, Duck Tales, then you will absolutely love You Can Rely on Platypi. I very much recommend it. – Brian Cronin, Comic Book Resource
